Our story
Built by OR professionals, for OR professionals.
OR Chronicles is a community where the people who live perioperative care share the stories, lessons, and growth that textbooks never teach.
Why we exist
Every OR has stories that never leave the room.
The near-miss that changed how a team communicates. The new grad who asked the question nobody else would. The veteran scrub tech who held the room together when everything went sideways.
These stories matter. They carry lessons that can't be found in a policy manual or a continuing education module. They live in the people who experienced them — and too often, they stay there.
OR Chronicles exists to change that. We are a platform for the perioperative community to share real experiences, learn from each other, and grow — not just as clinicians, but as leaders, communicators, and human beings.
Stories. Lessons. Growth.
What we stand for
The principles behind every story
Honesty over polish
Real stories, including the uncomfortable ones. Growth comes from truth, not from curated highlight reels.
Every role matters
Scrub techs, circulators, RNs, surgical techs, anesthesia — every voice in the OR has something worth saying.
Learning never stops
The best OR professionals are perpetual students. We celebrate curiosity, questions, and the courage to not know.
Community over competition
We are stronger together. This is a space to lift each other up, not to compete for who has the hardest story.
Who this is for
If you've ever stood in an OR, this is your community.
Scrub Technologists
The backbone of the sterile field. Your precision, your instincts, and your stories belong here.
Perioperative RNs
Circulators, charge nurses, OR educators — the people who hold the room together from every angle.
Surgical First Assists
The bridge between the scrub role and the surgical team. Your perspective is unique and underrepresented.
New Grads & Students
You're asking the questions the rest of us forgot to ask. Your curiosity makes this community better.
Travel Professionals
You've seen more ORs than most. You carry lessons from every facility you've worked in.
Veterans & Mentors
Thirty years of knowledge shouldn't leave with you when you retire. Share it here.
